Angel Rising is the annual investor symposium organized jointly by VentureSouq and startAD, the global startup accelerator of NYU Abu Dhabi. It has grown to be a leading voice for technology startup investments, attracting over 300 attendees each year and convening global and regional thought leaders in the investment community to build awareness, access, and a better understanding of what it takes to become an investor into technology-enabled ventures.

Leveraging our broader network of portfolio companies, co-investors and LPs we offer impactful connections to portfolio companies to enable cross-border expansions and strategic collaborations.

We launched the region’s first Conscious Investor Fellowship in collaboration with our partners startAD, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) and Hub71, with over 50% female fellows and 70% GCC nationals joining our first cohort.
